Tracey has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Primary Education as well as a National Professional Qualification for Headteachers.
Tracey has been a Headteacher for ten years. Prior to this, she taught in schools in Newcastle, Washington and Sunderland. During her early years of teaching, Tracey specialised in EYFS but has taught in all primary year groups. She has worked closely with our local authority to support schools that had been placed in Ofsted categories and LA concerns. Tracey feels passionate about her career choice and believes that every child is entitled to a first-class education that allows them to pursue their dreams and ambitions. She also, believes that talents must be nurtured within the wider curriculum and aspirations actively encouraged so children have the belief that ‘anything is possible.’
On a personal level, Tracey lives with her husband and dog Louis who she loves to take out for walks. Tracey has two daughters, one of who lives nearby with her husband and the other is travelling Australia.
