Yesterday, Year 1 enjoyed a visit from guide dogs, Odel and Pickle, and their owners from the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
The children learnt how a guide dog is trained, what their job is, how to look after a guide dog and the importance of the work the guide dog charity does.
The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association is a British charitable organisation founded in 1934. Guide Dogs help blind and partially sighted people across the UK through the provision of guide dogs, mobility and other rehabilitation services. Find out more here.
