Kim Bennett

Kim has a B.A. (Hons) in History and PGCE in primary education. Kim is a recently retired head teacher who has spent over 30 years in education. For the last 20 years Kim worked at a senior level as a Deputy Head teacher, Head teacher and Executive Head teacher.

Kim started her teaching career in 1987, during which she was a leading mathematics teacher within the local authority as well as undertaking development work on curriculum design and thinking skills.

Kim has experience of leading change through school improvement and as a local leader of education has supported schools within Ofsted categories both at management level and within the classroom, to make significant and long-term improvements.

Kim firmly believes that all children deserve the best education within a safe, caring and nurturing environment where they can have a sense of self belief, confidence and flourish.

Kim lives with her husband Rob and two dogs, Barney and Harry. She has two children who are both busy doctors. In her spare time Kim loves to cross-stitch.
