Yesterday, Cloud Singh, a member of the North East Sikh Service, spent the day in our school to talk about his faith.
Cloud introduced himself to all children in our morning assembly before working with Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 on more specific areas of the Sikh religion.
The children were engaged and interested in learning more about the faith and asked a range of pertinent and thoughtful questions - often getting quite deep into the beliefs we all have.
Cloud will be returning to school on a termly basis so that all classes have the opportunity to work closely with him. Cloud emailed his thanks last night and said:
"I found the pupils to be energetic, lively and very questioning and careful. They really were considerate, respectful and inquisitive which was a delight to see."
