Children's author, Adam Bushnell, came into school on Friday as a prize for the children after they won a road safety competition.
Adam, alongside road safety officer, Gillian, talked to us about road safety and worked with pupils to write stories using the same theme.
After a story-telling assembly where Adam invited children up to play the roles of the characters, Adam then spent the day with Year 4 and 5. Pupils in both classes wrote stories before reading them out on Adam's special storytelling chair - even using torches to create special effects.
Pupils have been busy writing up their stories this week to be judged by Gillian and her team. The best stories will be recorded by Adam for children to listen to.
