Children learn to speak out and stay safe

Date Published:

Today, children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 had a special visit from Jane, Jean and Buddy from the NSPCC, a charity that strives to protect children in the UK.

The visitors came to talk to pupils about how to stay safe and to advise them about who they can talk to if they are ever worried or upset. Buddy, the speech bubble NSPCC mascot, is used to remind children of the motto ‘SPEAK OUT. STAY SAFE’.
