We were delighted to welcome children's author, Adam Bushnell, into school yesterday for a day of creative storytelling.

Throughout the day, Adam delivered creative writing workshops to each class in KS1 and KS2 on a range of interesting topics. Year 1 created their own mixed-up animal, Year 4 wrote about life on the battlefield in 1066 and Year 6 began to write their own ghost stories. All of the children had a fantastic day and are bursting with ideas for their own short stories.

“Adam introduced new vocabulary and challenged what we knew. We loved it when he made us laugh.” - Year 3

“Our session with Adam was full of fun, energy and laughter. We used our knowledge of Norman Knights to up-level our sentences.” - Year 4
