Yesterday we welcomed not one, but two visitors into school to work with our children to build aspirations and develop their enterprise skills.

Year 3 and 4 were visited by Ben from One Goal, who inspired our children to be healthy aspirational leaders who can make an impact on the wider world. The group discussed global goals and small steps they can take to ensure longevity, efficiency and sustainability in their futures!

Meanwhile, our Year 5 and 6 pupils welcomed Brogan from the Foundation of Light into our school for a day of enterprise fun.

During Brogan's visit, the children worked in teams to design and create a prototype T-shirt for a new clothing business. They considered the uniqueness of their designs and costing before presenting their idea to the rest of the class in a sales pitch.

Ellis said: "It was great to be able to use our own ideas to design a product."

Maddison added: "We had to think carefully about the pricing of the product so people would want to buy it."

Our children had a wonderful time and could not wait to share what they had learned with the other year groups.
