Year 6 had a very special visit from history expert, Richard, this week who came to share his knowledge of World War 2.
The pupils handled artifacts and items which were owned by a family during the war. They used these items to imagine what life would have been like if they had lived during those times.
Children were also taught how to spot aircraft and decide if they were friend or foe.
One of their favourite parts of the morning was listening to a real-life air raid siren which Mr Brunton loved using!
Thanks to Richard for coming in, we learned a lot and had a really fun day.
