On Wednesday, everyone had fun celebrating World Environment Day by thinking about what we can do to protect the environment.

In Key Stage 1 pupils took part in a variety of activities such as making sea creatures out of recycled materials, growing their own plants and promising to pick up plastic.

Key Stage 2 also took part in the fight against pollution by reducing energy waste in classrooms, learning how to recycle batteries and creating mini beast hotels.

Throughout the school we are all committed to reducing waste in order to uphold our recycling motto ‘We can fix this!’ to help make a better planet.
