On Friday, our Sacriston stars 'chilled for Children in Need'. Pupils swapped their uniforms for casual clothes, ready to 'chill' to raise money for Children in Need.
Here at Sacriston Academy we strongly believe in supporting those who may need our help and all of our pupils were eager for the chance to support disadvantaged young people across the country.
The charity, Children in Need, make it their mission to help ensure that every child in the UK is safe, happy, secure and has opportunities they need to reach their potential. This links to our UNICEF Rights Respecting Article 24: Every child has the right to the best possible health. You have the right to healthcare, safe water, nutritious food and a clean and safe environment.
