This morning we were joined virtually by author and illustrator, Nick Sharratt. The children listened to excerpts of different stories written by Nick and had some masterclasses into how to illustrate the characters.
Jacob said: "I have his books at home so it was very exciting to see him on screen in our classroom."
Darcey: "I enjoyed learning about how Nick makes his books unique with the theme of sharks and how he keeps the reader engaged."
