Our Nursery children became ‘wormologists’ this week!
After reading the class story, Yucky Worms, pupils spent the week watching and researching the wriggly creatures! Our class wormery allowed the children to study live worms making tunnels and pulling dead leaves to eat. The group discovered that worms also like to eat dead insects, rotting leaves and fruit!
After watching their little visitors, the class had great fun designing and making their own ‘wacky worms’ that were colourful, full of patterns and even had eyes!
