This week, Year 2 went on an 'Amazing Me' march to develop positive self-belief. In the hall, our children chose from a selection of affirmations that they believe best describe themselves, such as 'I am brave', 'I am proud of what I can do' and 'I am always kind to animals'.
The group then marched back to Key Stage 1 holding their posters high, showing them to anyone they passed to let them know just how proud Year 2 are of the positive things they do each day.
The day ended with the class passing one to a friend on the way out to take home, telling them things like 'YOU are fabulous!', 'YOU are tough' and 'YOU can do it!'.
