Our school hall was transformed into a Reading Café last week, as part of our Year of Reading celebrations. We were thrilled to have such a fantastic turnout, with so many parents, carers, and relatives joining us on World Book Day to share stories, sip drinks and celebrate the joy of reading.
It was wonderful to see our young readers getting involved with fun activities such as designing their very own book covers and bookmarks, and our Year 6 class enjoyed reading to some of our Early Years pupils in shared story time sessions.
