Year 4 pupils arrived at school last week with ships of all shapes, sizes and colours, built specially for their creative homework task.
Before learning about the Saxons and Vikings this half term, pupils were challenged to build Saxon ships at home using anything they could find. The results were fantastic (as you can see from the photo above) with ships made with everything from lego to cardboard!
The class also made a giant boat together to be used as part of their display - see picture above.
Mrs Hawman was super impressed with the high quality of homework - keep it up Year 4!
