Our Year 5 class had a jam-packed science day at the Centre for Life in Newcastle last week.
Pupils were shown around the robot exhibition, observed a science show with lots of 'wow' experiments and watched a film in the planetarium where they learned how to look for star constellations.
They then took part in a workshop where they met some gruesome looking mini beasts including a tarantula(!) before taking a spin on the motion ride through space with Rusty the Robot.
All in all, it was a brilliant day and pupils returned to school full of new knowledge about different elements of science.
