This week, our Reception pupils welcomed Clare from Esh Construction into the classroom.
Clare asked the children what they wanted to be when they were older, with lots of our children saying they wanted to be builders, police officers and doctors.
When Clare discussed the story of the Three Little Pigs, the children could all recall the story and the types of material the three little pigs used to build their houses. The children concluded that bricks were the best material to use to build a house.
Later, the children learned about the roles of an architect, quantity surveyor and a project manager. The children are looking forward to using all the wonderful resources Clare provided!
