Our Year 4 children have been making their very own runes out of clay today as part of their Viking topic.
Runes are the letters in a set of related alphabets known as runic alphabets, used by Vikings. Pupils used the runic alphabet to spell out lots of words and phrases before challenging their friends to decipher their messages.
