This week, pupils in Year 4 and 5 completed their last physical FISCH (Family, Initiative Supporting Children's Health) PE session. The programme was designed to keep children active as well as educate them on what it means to be healthy.
Throughout the programme, children have learned specifically about the eat well guide, discussed sugar intake and consumption, completed a dental focused session, as well as taking part in lots of physical activities such as racing on hoverboards and dodge ball.
Next week will be the final classroom session, where the children complete a healthy lifestyle quiz as well as a 'fruit-tucker' tasting trial. We can't wait for the fruit fun!
Thanks to Gareth for leading the FISCH sessions, we’ve had great fun learning the best ways to be healthy each day.
