Rumpelstiltskin has been his usual sneaky, cunning and mean self this week in Year 2...
The class have looked at traditional tales with rules of three and have planned the beginning section of their own Rumpelstiltskin story. Year 2 have used plenty of synonyms like gruesome, wicked and boastful, and then magpie'd ideas from friends for collaborative learning. This is just the beginning, the class will soon add the middle and ending section to retell the tale of Rumpelstiltskin.
Each week, pupils are mindful of their handwriting, trying to be self-motivated with presentation and identify letters that they would like further support with to ensure that they are ready to move to joined-up writing soon!
