Today we marked Armistice Day and came together to show our respect to the fallen soldiers and the people have given their lives. We shared the story 'Alive with Poppies' and talked about the relevance of the poppies and what they symbolise to us today.
Yesterday, three of our Year 6 children represented our school and did us proud at the village Remembernace Sevice. They each read a section of the poem 'On Flander's Fields' before laying a wreath at the Centotaph. Lest we forget.
