Our careers club explored the role of a nurse last week and role played as mini medics to learn about the routine and skills needed for the job!
Our pupils showed a brilliant understanding of how to stay calm in an emergency, making sure that everyone was safe before starting treatment. The group learned how to check someone over and put them into the recovery position, as well as basic CPR. It was great to see our pupils so confidently practising vital techniques, such as checking for chest rises, listening for breaths and performing chest compressions during the role play session.
Our pupils were calm, confident and courageous throughout this week's careers club and had an amazing time learning such useful skills. Fantastic work everyone!
