A huge thank you to Northern Gas Networks for visiting our school and delivering engaging sessions for year groups from Year 1 to Year 6!
Our Key Stage 1 pupils became young scientists, taking part in a hands-on experiment to explore global warming, learning what it is, how it happens, and the impact it has on our planet. Meanwhile, our Key Stage 2, pupils embraced their entrepreneurial spirit in an exciting Dragons’ Den-style challenge. They explored important topics such as energy sources, supply chain management, waste reduction, and carbon offsetting, developing creative ideas for more sustainable business practices.
It was a fantastic opportunity for our children to deepen their understanding of environmental issues and sustainability. Thank you again to Northern Gas Networks for inspiring the next generation!
