Year 3... I miss you all very much! I am completely confident that you will be doing the most wonderful learning at home and sharing that knowledge with your family. I hope that each day you think about how blessed we are to have what we have, and although it might be different to the person we sit next to or the person up the street from us, be thankful that you have what YOU have, and that you are safe and well and doing the best thing for your community by STAYING INDOORS!

You are the most important part of my team, and so I need your help! Here is a list of things I miss about school but know that you can conquer for me...

I miss our singing - Please seek out the 'Laugh Along and Learn' times tables songs on YouTube to make up for what I am missing!

I miss your artwork - Why should Miss White be the only person receiving your wonderful drawings and kind words? Could you create something inspirational for the front line workers keeping our country running? A poster, a card, a sketch, a painting?? Ask an adult to share this online to keep everybody's morale high.

I miss your juicy vocabulary - You would be ashamed of the snory boring words I keep using now that I don't have you lot to uplevel my vocabulary (The other day I said... "old"!!!) Keep your brain going by learning a new word each day and stick it anywhere in your house for someone else to find. Could you make it into an Englishy game of Hide and Seek? Or a challenging wordsearch for a brother or sister??

And finally, I miss hearing from you! Log in to your TTRS, Purple Mash and EdShed accounts as much as possible and you can even leave a comment when you complete some of your 2Do's that I can read. I can see who is logging in and what you are completing and you are making me very proud...but if we want to be the best Y3 class in the world then we MUST KEEP LOGGING IN AND KEEP BUSY!

I do really miss you, but I go to bed happy each night knowing that you are healthy and safe, and will be returned to me very soon! Please stay inside, please wash your hands, and please keep your brains busy x

Lots of love, Miss White xxx

Calming bedtime story from CBeebies

We know it is a very unusual time for us all at the moment that may make us feel worried or anxious. It is important we share our worries, if you have any, talking about them with people you care about can help. You can read a story about a girl who learns that she is not the only person with a worry here
